Re: Continued Service and COVID-19 Response

As you know, yesterday Governor Abbott announced his order to lift the mask mandate and remove occupancy restrictions on all businesses effective 3/10/2021, subject to certain conditions listed in the order (EO GA 34).

While AgTrust Farm Credit is pleased that the infection rates are trending in the right direction, we want to make sure our response not only considers the State’s guidance, but also protects our customer-owners and employees.

Effective Monday, March 15, 2021

All LSAC facilities will be open to visitors. It should be noted that the order strongly encourages face coverings when social distancing isn’t possible.

Re: Continued Service and COVID-19 Response

Customer-owners and Industry Partners,

If you haven’t hard the exciting news, I am thrilled to be the one delivering the message on behalf of our Board of Directors.

Considering the lingering impact of COVID-19, the Board recently approved advancing a portion of the expected 2020 patronage refund in order to provide support to you, our customer-owners.  Eligible borrowers will receive an advance on that expected payment equal to 50 basis points of their average daily loan balance through September 30, 2020.

We know the uncertainty and challenges of 2020 continue.  Our goal is that this advance payment will provide you, our customer-owners, with the immediate support you need as we look toward the holiday season.

Our lobbies may be closed to visitors due to the pandemic, rest assured that we stand ready to work with you for all of your rural financing needs!

Thank you for your business and continued support.

Re: Continued Service and COVID-19 Response

AgTrust Farm Credit would like to inform you that several communities we serve have recently enhanced their expectations regarding facial coverings.  Considering this rapidly evolving environment, we are implementing the following:

  • Every employee or visitor to our locations are required to wear a face covering when in common areas or when others are present.
  • These guidelines and requirements are posted on the front door entrance.

As a reminder, Ag Banking Online lets you manage your accounts without mailing a check or visiting your local office. With this free service, you can quickly and securely manage your accounts anytime, anywhere. We even have a mobile app, so your information is always there when you need it.

AgTrust Farm Credit is committed to meeting your credit needs.  The Association continues to follow requirements and guidance from the State of Texas, applicable local ordinance, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Thank you for your business and continued patience as we navigate these changes.

Re: Continued Service and COVID-19 Response

Customer-owners and Industry Partners,

We are excited to announce the re-opening of our locations to visitors! On Monday, June 1st, all AgTrust Farm Credit offices will open to customers and the public. This decision is possible because of the mitigating precautions we have implemented. While we look forward to returning to somewhat normal in-person interactions, we continue to encourage the use of technology to transact business when possible.

Safety Procedures

To ensure the continuity of our day-to-day operations, we are taking additional steps to prevent the spread of COVID -19 and to protect the health and well-being of our team, customers and the communities we serve.

  • We ask any employee or customer that is feeling sick or that has visited a COVID-19 “hotspot” within the last 14 days, to not enter our locations
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at all locations
  • In order to promote physical distancing, we have placed markers six feet apart in our lobbies
  • High traffic and common areas of our locations undergo daily cleanings
  • If you would like our staff to wear a mask when meeting with you, please ask, we are happy to do so.

Banking from Home

AgTrust Farm Credit remains committed to meeting your credit needs. Should you feel more comfortable banking remotely, please remember we have the following options to serve you.

  • Customers may reach us by calling the local branch office or our toll-free number 1-800-530-1252 with questions, accounts, transactions and other business.

Customer-owners and Industry Partners,

In an effort to continue to keep you posted, I am writing to assure you that we remain open for business! While our offices remain closed to non-employees, the entire team is working daily to provide you with the responsiveness you deserve during this unusual season. Thank you for your understanding and willingness to conduct business just a little differently!

President Woodrow Wilson signed legislation creating the Federal Land Bank System in 1916, and the Farm Credit System is currently the largest single source of rural financing in the United States. Our mission to support rural communities and agriculture remains just as critical today as it was more than 100 years ago.

National Agriculture Day was March 24th. AgTrust staff are usually active in our communities and offices educating and celebrating our great industry. This year because of COVID-19, all activities were cancelled. Our team took the opportunity, however, to make donations to local food pantries in almost all our communities. One pantry said the donation would help feed more than 200 people in their county for a full week. When you seek opportunities to be generous amazing things will happen.

We all know that our way of life has changed, but our mission to support rural communities and agriculture is our focus. We appreciate what you do daily by feeding and clothing America! Together as we go above and beyond for others, we will continue to provide reliable, consistent credit and financial services for everything outside the city limits.

Please reach out and let us know how we can better serve you. Thank you again for your continued support and business, most importantly, stay safe!
