I grew up in Nolan County on a small farm located south of Sweetwater, Texas. In 1994 I graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science and Business Option.
My wife and I have been married for over 28 years and still live in the same area that I grew up in. I have one son that is married, and he and his wife are both RN’s. I have a daughter that is graduating high school this year and will be attending a local University to also major in Nursing.
I farm 500 acres on a part time bases, raising primarily cotton and wheat. Agricultural and rural lifestyle is of utmost importance to me. I serve as the Board President on a local school board, board member for the Nolan County Farm Bureau, as well as board member for the Nolan County Soil and Water Conservation district.
