I grew up in the South Coastal Texas town of Victoria, where much of my time was spent in athletics, saltwater fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities. I attended Baylor University and graduated with degrees in Finance and Financial Services & Planning. I started my banking career as a credit analyst trainee in Waco with Lone Star Ag Credit in 2010, where I was involved in all aspects of credit underwriting for core and Capital Markets lending activities. I relocated to Lone Star’s corporate headquarters in Fort Worth in 2017, where I worked in a cross-functional role between credit and accounting/finance for two years, in order to earn a CPA license. Upon completion, I transitioned back to credit where I currently manage the Capital Markets and Agribusiness loan portfolios.
Through my journey, I have gained a deep, comprehensive understanding of credit, accounting, and finance that offers value for unique, large, and complex commercial transactions common in the Capital Markets and Agribusiness areas. I am very proud to say I have worked at Lone Star my entire professional career and am passionate about carrying out our mission for our stockholders.
I am beyond blessed with a wife and son. I have been a Certified Public Accountant since 2018. My memberships include, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs, and the Farm Credit Council’s Rural Investment and Innovation Workgroup. I also serve on the board as the treasurer for a local non-profit organization. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, coaching or watching my son’s sporting events, golf, and being outside.
