FORT WORTH, Texas — Lone Star Ag Credit recently hired two new executives – Hans C. Pettit and Justin Renard – to join the co-op’s Fort Worth headquarters.
Pettit joins as chief risk officer for Lone Star Ag Credit. He has over 23 years’ experience working with financial institutions as both an executive and consultant. Over the past decade he has worked closely with Farm Credit Associations on their risk management, operations and board development strategies. The Montgomery, Alabama, native earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Auburn University at Montgomery and a master’s of accountancy degree from the University of Alabama.
Renard serves as Lone Star Ag Credit’s new chief information officer. He has more than 22 years of information technology experience in the Farm Credit System. Throughout his career, he served on various Farm Credit System workgroups and committees. He earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University. Renard’s family has been involved in production agriculture in South Texas for more than 75 years.
