Record Set for Tarleton State University FFA Invitational

A record 9,500 FFA students from 465 Texas schools participated in the Tarleton State University FFA Invitational Career Development Judging Contest on March 22, and it took several hundred volunteers to help make the event a success. Among the local businesses that helped keep the teenagers nourished and hydrated was Lone Star Ag Credit in Stephenville. Pictured unloading bags of snacks and water for the students are Lone Star staffers, from left to right, Gerrit Schouten, Shelley Gilliland, Sharidan Toves and Bradley Horry. They also provided 650 volunteers with T-shirts that said, “I believe in the future of agriculture.”
